We are pleased to announce that the School Board has named Dr. Julie Pfeffer as the Principal of Crow Island School for the 2011-2012 school year, thereby removing the "interim" tag. As you may know, Dr. Pfeffer has been a District 36 administrator since 2002. Prior to taking over Crow Island School this year, she served as the Director of Curriculum from 2002-2010.

Dr. Pfeffer, a resident of Highland Park, is the proud mother of two boys and one girl. She is an avid runner and participates in races across the country. Needless to say, she is very excited to be at Crow Island School and we look forward to many successful years of her leadership. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Julie Pfeffer.
