As part of the new Winnetka Park District fall nature workshop series, Kids in 2^nd-4^th grade are invited to learn about the various feathered friends who are native to the North Shore on Tuesday, September 18 from 3:45-5:00 pm at the Crow Island Shelter (Willow & Euclid). Learn how to identify the birds by sight and sound and how to use binoculars. Participants will even paint their own birdhouses. Hundreds of species of birds have been spotted in the Skokie Lagoons and by the end of this program your newly acquired skills will help you to find many of them.
